Computer Resource Center

The Computer Resource Centre (CRC) is situated in the main building of the college. The centre provides state-of-the-art computer facilities to its staff, research scholars and students of the college. Desktops with TFT, LCD Projectors, Printers and Scanners are the resources available at the centre. The multimedia facilities enable appropriate inter-linkage for the advancement of Home Science discipline. The Centre is instrumental in providing technical and academic support to the college.

The available computer facilities have expanded over a period of time with additional support coming from UGC & Delhi University. There are three labs namely CRC I with 40 computers; CRC II with 25 computers and CRC (e resources) where 40 computers are installed. The internet connectivity to all the places is available through Wi-Fi and fiber optical cables.

The Centre supports all departments in curriculum transaction, research and outreach activities. Specialized courses like Basics of Computer, Computer Aided Designing, (CAD Basics) for Fashion & Textiles, Advanced CAD (Tukacad), Interiors and Landscaping, (AutoCAD), Statistical Analysis (SPSS) are co-ordinated by the centre. The centre provides access to full text academic resources like journals & periodicals of DU Data base. It also supports the college website. The centre also assists in data base management and provides facilities to faculty and students for word processing, data analysis, printing and scanning of material for research, course assignments and other related tasks. Assistance is also provided to departments for presentations of Seminars, Conferences, Meetings and Department activities. All students and faculty have been allotted User ID and Password for accessing internet.
